Hace casi un mes, me fui a Lanzarote. Siempre había oído maravillas de los paisajes de esta isla. A mi, con lo que me gustan los paisajes desérticos, no me decepcionó.
About one month ago, I went to Lanzarote. I had always heard wonderful comments about the landscapes of this island. As far as I am concerned, I love desert landscapes and I can say I was not disappointed.

donde, a diferencia de los humanos, especies animales muy diferentes han aprendido a cohabitar sin necesidad de fronteras,
where, unlike humans, animal species very different have learnt how to live together with no need of borders,
donde algunos, como Cesar Manrique, han sabido adecuar una presencia humana confortable al entorno, sin dañar ése,
where some people, like Cesar Manrique, were able to adapt a comfortable human presence to the environment, without damaging it,
y donde, sin embargo, en algunos sitios, se ve demasiado la mano del hombre, el cual, en un afán económico truncado por la crisis, ha dejado decenas de edificaciones a medio hacer o tapiadas, y donde también deja que se pierdan vestigios del pasado en lugar de valorarlos.
and where, however, in a few places, the hand of the man is more than obvious as, in the pursuit of gaining a lot of money, cut short because of the recession, he has left tens of unfinished constructions, and where he also leaves remains of the past falling down instead of valuing them.
