El pasado 31 de Julio, asistimos a la presentación del nuevo proyecto musical del polifacético artista Francesc Miralles: Nieve en la Luna

Last 31st of July, we went to the presentation of Francesc Miralles’ new musical project: Snow on the Moon.

Entre folk alternativo y jazz melódico, la banda estrenó los primeros temas que están componiendo para su primer disco y nos deleitó con temas de The 12 Autumns, un disco de 12 temas, compuestos por Francesc Miralles a lo largo de un año a razón de uno por mes, e inspirados en los paisajes emocionales por los que el pianista ha ido viajando. Como él mismo lo comenta en el libreto del álbum, en el cual también salen preciosas fotos de Yvette Moya-Angeler, todas las canciones se grabaron en su casa con un estudio móvil para capturar la espontaneidad del momento. 

Between alternative folk and melodic jazz, the group played the first songs that it is composing for its first album and it also delighted us with a few songs of The 12 Autumns, a record made of 12 songs, composed by Francesc Miralles during one year (1 song every month) and inspired by the emotional landscapes that the pianist has gone over. As he comments in the booklet of the album, where there are also wonderful photos by Yvette Moya-Angeler, all the songs were recorded at home with a mobile studio to capture the spontaneity of the moment. 

Francesc nos ha prometido un concierto de The 12 Autumns para diciembre y la verdad es que no puedo esperar para escuchar en directo temas como Let it go/Let it come, Dandelion, The Waltz, Lo que queda y otros tantos. 

Francesc promised us a concert of The 12 Autumns in December and I really cannot wait to listen to live songs as Let it go/Let it come, Dandelion, The Waltz, Lo que queda, and so on.
