The 130 metres long and 3 metres wide of this street, which goes from Portaferrissa street to Pi Square show on the walls of its building the history of what the customs of this street of the city were. In 1959, it became the first street in Barcelona to be completely pedestrian.
Among art galleries, bookshops and chocolate shops, the ceramic plates also remember distinguished artists who lived in the city, like for example Montserrat Caballé who had her rehearsal studio in this street, or Ángel Guimerá among others, and also give some advice about coexistence. There are also beautiful paintings on the doors of a few buildings, as well as the strange paper birds that lately swarm in the Gothic Neighbourhood.
Espero que os guste.
I hope you like it.
