Este lugar se inauguró el pasado 22 de julio en la calle Terol del barrio de Gracià de Barcelona. No tenía ni idea de ese proyecto y fue gracias a Francesc Miralles, un escritor al que sigo, que lo descubrí.
This place has been opened last 22nd of July in Calle Terol, in Gracià neighbourhood in Barcelona. I had no idea about this project until I discovered it thanks to Francesc Miralles’ newsletter
Similar to the Gatoteca in Madrid, you can have a coffee with a piece of pastry or eat something more salty, with 8 cats around you. In this place, where it is better to book to be sure you can get in, everything has been conceived thinking in the comfort of these pussycats: places to rest, to hide, to play,…
The final aim to this place is to let the cats being adopted by any customer carried away by their enchantment, as all of them have been abandoned. Personally, while I was having a vegan bagel and Sergio was eating hummus, I fell in love with Greta… with Victor… with Clooney… with Pavarotti… Well, would it be for me (and if I was not allergic), they would already be at home.
So, if you come to visit Barcelona and you are a cat lover, you cannot avoid going to this place.
Here is their website.
