Nuevos rumbos / New paths

Últimamente, aunque haya publicado reseñas de libros que he leído, así como posts con fotos, poco os he hablado de mis progresos. 

Lately, though I have published a few book reviews and posts with photos, I have not told you anything about my progresses. 

 The first step does not take you where you want, but it removes you from where you are

Quería deciros que el nuevo libro está en proceso de revisión y corrección. Sin embargo, no tengo ni la menor idea de cuando saldrá. En efecto, cuando menos te lo esperas la vida te lleva por otro camino, haciéndote tomar desvíos, los cuales, si habías llegado a planteártelos algún día, era soñando despierto. No voy a negar que si bien estoy muy contenta por ello, también me asaltan las dudas, pero ¿qué sería de una vida sin ellas? 

I wanted to tell you that the new book is in the process of checking and correction. However, I have no idea when it will be published. Indeed, when you less expect it, life takes you to another way, making you take detours, which you had maybe thought about once in your life. I will not deny that despite the fact that I am very happy for it, I also have many hesitations but what would be life without them? 

Espero y deseo que esos rodeos me lleven al final a la realización de otro proyecto ansiado, aunque, de no ser así, tampoco pasará nada pues la experiencia de vida ganada será, sin duda, impagable. 

I hope and wish that these detours will finally bring me to the realisation of another long-awaited project, though, if it was not to be this way, the gained life experience would anyway be priceless.

Y esto es lo que me ha pasado. La verdad es que no puedo deciros mucho más ahora mismo, sino que aparte de lo que será la continuación de “Las Sendas de la Felicidad”, otro proyecto narrativo está tramándose en mi cabeza… y en mis libretas. And this is what has happened to me. 

The truth is that I cannot tell you more about it for now, except that besides what will be a sequel of “The Paths of Happiness”, a new narrative project is developing into my head… and in my notebooks.
